Mechanical/Electrical Engineer Required In Kuwait City. An opportunity in Kuwait Engineer-Development (Mv Switchgears-AIS-Circuitbreakers) BE in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 3-10 years of experience developing medium voltage switchgear, namely circuit breakers and air insulated switchgears.
* Expertise in the design of operational mechanisms, including mechanical components such as springs, shafts, cams, and gears.
* Design of various switchgear elements such as earthing switches, load break switches, and disconnectors.
* Expertise in studying no-load characteristics for VCB/Switches (distance time graphs).
* Knowledge of routine/type tests that are applicable to relevant IEC standards, as well as troubleshooting problems during testing.
* Understanding electrical characteristics including clearance, creepage, and switchgear ratings.
* Working understanding of AutoCAD is essential.
