Maintenance In-Charge Required In Jahra Having Experience. We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance In-Charge with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in heavy vehicle and machinery maintenance, who holds a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering. The successful candidate will lead maintenance operations for our fleet of heavy vehicles and heavy‐duty machinery, ensuring maximum uptime, cost efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities for heavy vehicles (e.g., trucks, cranes, loaders) and heavy machinery, including preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance. Develop and implement maintenance schedules, work plans, and repair programs to optimize equipment availability and minimize downtime.

Monitor performance of machinery and vehicles, analyze failure trends, root‐cause faults and implement corrective actions and improvement initiatives. Manage spare parts inventory, procurement and budgeting for maintenance-related items, ensuring cost controls and availability of critical spares. Ensure maintenance work is carried out in accordance with OEM specifications, safety regulations, industry’s best practices and company policy. Supervise and mentor maintenance technicians, provide technical guidance, training and ensure high workmanship standards. Interface with operations, logistics and production teams to coordinate equipment availability, prioritize repairs and provide status updates.

Maintain accurate records of equipment history, maintenance logs, downtime reports, spare parts usage and budget expenditures. Participate in HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) audits, risk assessments and ensure maintenance activities adhere to safety protocols. Recommend upgrades, replacements and improvements in machinery, systems and maintenance processes to improve efficiency and reliability.

Qualifications & Experience Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or a closely related discipline). Experience: Minimum 7 years’ hands‐on experience in the maintenance of heavy vehicles and heavy machinery, with at least some supervisory or in-charge responsibility. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems, diesel engines, transmissions, and heavy equipment assemblies. Experience working in industrial, construction, mining or heavy‐equipment fleet environments is preferred.
